Waterstop

Manufactured by extrusion from PVC compounds

A product at the service of concrete's jets technology.            

PG profiles are made of a high quality thermoplastic vinyl resin compound with the addition of a suitable plastifying agent. They are very resistant to the aggressive action of acid alkaline solutions, salt water and to ageing, performing much better than similar products. PG profiles are very resistant to the degrading action of the sun, ozone and other atmospheric or chemical agents normally present in aquifer waters. Highly flexible at low temperatures. PG profile mechanical properties remain constant in time.

PVC Waterstop is a highly elastic waterproof profile used in stop end joints, expansion joints and concrete structures, thus ensuring perfect hydraulic sealing and absorption of mechanical and natural stress.

Main applications: Dams, reservoirs, hydroelectric power stations, tunnels, overheads tanks, water treatment plants, insulation walls, swimming pools, terraces, etc. Available in different shapes and sizes, designed and tested for optimum performance across the widest range of applications. On request we can provide PVC profiles in different shapes and sizes.

Stop end joint, PVC PG Waterstop, for internal or external application, bulbous version, is positioned with the middle bulb protruding from the castings. All mechanical stress caused by thermal variations and by settling of the concrete are therefore perfectly absorbed thanks to the high elasticity of PVC PG Waterstop and to the specific middle bulb shape.

RT 2000 Swelling rubber Waterstop

Water swelling joint based on polyethylene, butyl rubber, resin and elastomeric binding agents.

General features:

Its specific chemical composition makes this product inalterable. Dimensionally stable also at its largest expansion factor. RT2000 retains its swelling property even after several hydration/dehydration cycles. RT2000 swelling strip is mechanically very strong, elastic, and begins to swell in a gradual and controlled way upon contact with water. Swelling times have been studied to allow setting of concrete without any deformation.

 

Bentonitic joint 20x25

Description:  

The distinguishing feature of the Bentonite strip is its powerful, quick and reliable swell. It is made mainly of Natural Sodium Bentonite 75%, Butyl Rubber and Inerts 25% and is used for hydraulically sealing concrete casting stop ends. 
It swells upon contact with water, filling up all the spaces in the casting caused by shrinkage of the concrete and also all hollows in gravel clusters, often found at the bottom of vertical castings. This a perfect seal against passage of water is obtained.
